In 2003 Communications as a Service (CaaS)  began to center stage across the business sector as a viable means to implement technology for the enterprise.  As this technology matured one market  lagged behind with limited access to the various options and  benefits of the “Cloud,” either in the enterprise or as a stand alone business.  The market was the Hospitality and Lodging sector.  In 2010 at the Hospitality CIO Conference it became apparent that VoIP meant something different for hospitality and it was lacking in adapting to this niche market.  Simultaneously, two engineers in Georgia were on to the technology deficit and began putting their collective energy into developing the concept of a “cloud computing technology” for hospitality.  This model would not only address the individual property but would stretch across the enterprise, allowing properties to balance their occupancy. Their solution would  provide the service of managing the seasonality of the property, and charge only based on the daily usage.  It would support PMS and call accounting  integration, a global enterprise licensing platform,  SIP reliable telephone sets, and Intellectual property that could be connected, managed and implemented across the spectrum of hospitality.  In 2011 blue mountain networks debuted  its’ product at the 2012 Metaswitch Partner Forum in Las Vegas.     Welcome to  blue mountain networks! © 2012-2013 bluemountainsoftware, LLC.
